Happy Independence Day!
My sister and I had the opportunity to see Garth Brooks in Las Vegas last weekend. It was our first time in Vegas for the 4th of July and didn't disappoint, even with temps hovering around 115 degrees. Pool time was much appreciated. Garth was great, highly recommend seeing him if you haven't! Also got to check out Ole Red Bar and had the absolute best fried pickles I've ever had!
But the best part was the company. With my sister living near Houston and me living in Wyoming, we don't get to catch up as often as we'd like. Vegas is a one-of-a-kind beast, $8 bottles of water and $20 beers, long walks in hot temps. Travel didn't always go according to plan, but nothing and I mean nothing could put a damper on the weekend. To my sister, I love you so much and so glad we got to catch up for a fun weekend. Way overdue. And cheers to many more.
